Join Hoop Heroes on our mission to introduce basketball to 10,000 UK children!
We're rapidly expanding across the country and need game-changers like you to join us. We want to hear from you if you can you spare a couple of hours each weekend to inspire and coach kids aged 5-13, blending basketball with impactful life lessons.
OUR MISSION
At Hoop Heroes we fundamentally believe that basketball has the power to make young people's lives better. We also believe that basketball’s potential for growth and impact across the UK is incredibly exciting.
Our mission is to lay the foundations for people to develop a lifelong passion for the game and contribute to the growth of basketball in the UK.
We have created a fun way to introduce kids to the sport and help them develop a love of basketball, and an understanding that how you play the game is as important as the score.
Now we plan to go even further, uniting a team of people through their love of basketball and changing the way that basketball is delivered across the UK.
Our goal is to have 10,000 kids aged 5-13 playing basketball with us each week across the UK by 2033.
But we can't do it alone. We need your help...
Volunteer Coaches -
Help assist our team of coaches during your child's session and get your membership free! (Limited spaces)
Assistant Coaches -
Help our head coach run the sessions. Perfect for anyone 14+ Years old who loves basketball and wants to get into coaching. Paid Role, 2+ Hours per week
Head Coaches -
Love basketball and want to help get more kids in your area playing the game? Join our head coach training program. No previous experience required just a love for the game and a good match for our core values. Paid Role, 2+ Hours per week.

Love for the game - You live and breathe basketball and want to share that passion with kids.
Kid Friendly - Working with children lights you up. You understand their world and can connect with them.
Core Values - You embody our core values of Fun, Communication, Caring, Respect, Enthusiasm, and Adaptability.
Enthusiasm - Your energy is contagious, and you make learning basketball an exciting adventure.
Team Player - You play well with others, on and off the court.
Tech know-how - You have at least basic tech skills to access our coaching materials and attend team zoom 1 Columnmeetings.

WHAT YOU GET IN RETURN
Salary - Very competitive hourly rates.
Training - We provide all of your training.

Location- Flexibility to coach in your local area at evenings or weekends starting form as little as 1 hour a week.
Free Space for your child- Our coaches all get a complimentary space on the class for their child!
